my bright and cheery sunday morning mood was utterly destroyed by a sainsbury woman behind the customer service who didn't seem to get what a 'box' was. i had to repeat myself ten million times that no, i do not want a crate, i just want a box with a COVER. i figured it was too painful to get the message across in a docile manner, so i walked to the storage room myself hoping to find someone at least of some use. after hanging around for 10 minutes looking like a moron, i finally found a staff who understood was a box was. hallelujah.
i figured it might have been the language barrier.

it's mover's day! :)
was really happy to chuck all my notes and books into boxes, of which im not going to see for the next three months (hooray!), and packed my winter jackets into my luggage and another humungous box. i didn't realise i actually have THAT much clothes... i think by the end of year 4, i could hold a garage sale for the amount of stuff i have. further partitioned my wardrobe by stacking my clothes into piles of 1) clothes im definitely not bringing back 2) working/semi-formal tops that i may need for my internship 3) random clothes which im still undecided where they should go
finally down to moving! we walked to and fro along cromwell road lugging trolleys in the blazing sun. maybe sains trolley would have been a better idea. haha. it was pretty hardcore, tj sprained his toe and still had to move my stuff, which were tons heavier than his stuff. at least its over for now! i shall worry about my remaining stuff closer to saturday.
caught the french open finals at ethos in the afternoon as well. it was an utterly disappointing finals where the undisputed king of the clay court demolished his opponent like a small fry. federer played like shites, he literally fed nadal the ball everytime it was a perfect chance to go for a kill. nadal played him all over the court and made him look like a noob.
time for air crash investigation!
